Himalayan bowl workshop

Just back from a workshop with Mitch Nur http://sacredsound.org/. I’m in full agreement we need to call these Himalyan bowls, as they have been made from India, Bhutan, through the whole Himalayan area and west to Afghanistan. I always say this when I speak of them, and many are surprised at the geographical reach they have. But the Japanese, Chinese and Koreans also have bowls. Bowls, drums, flutes and such are wonderful ways to move into other states of consciousness to reach beyond daily experience of general reality. I have some new techniques and an even greater appreciation of how the metal bowls can create a measurable electro-magnetic field, mix that with their gorgeous harmonics and you have some magic.
